Getting ready at Eterna Estate
Your Wedding Morning: Making the Most of Your Getting-Ready Spaces
A little preparation creates room for the moments you will want to remember—before you ever walk down the aisle.
There is a whole chapter of your wedding before the ceremony: a parent helping with a necklace, friends laughing while they get ready, a quiet breath before putting on your outfit. A thoughtful wedding-morning plan gives those moments somewhere to happen.
Start with access times, then build your morning
Before choosing a hair-and-makeup start time, confirm when you and your vendors can enter the venue. Ask which rooms are available, how many people can comfortably get ready in each and when belongings need to be collected. Your contracted access time is the starting point for the schedule.
Work backward from the ceremony with your photographer and beauty team. Allow for each person’s services, getting dressed, portraits, any first look and the walk to the ceremony. Leave a buffer between finishing preparations and being needed somewhere else. A morning planned to the minute can feel rushed after one small delay.
When you visit Eterna: Ask Jasmine to walk you through arrival, the two getting-ready rooms and the route to your ceremony. Confirm the access arrangements for your chosen package before booking vendors around them.
Let the bridal suite work for you
At Eterna Estate, the bridal suite brings together pink walls, a crystal chandelier, vanity mirrors and soft seating. The vanity area gives preparations a clear home, while the seating creates somewhere to pause and spend time with the people closest to you.
Share photographs of the room with your hair-and-makeup team in advance. Ask what they need for lighting, chairs, work surfaces and power, then confirm the setup with the venue. Keep only the people who need to be there in the room during the busiest part of preparations; loved ones can join for specific moments once there is space.

Give the groom’s quarters a plan, too
The other half of the morning deserves just as much attention. Eterna’s groom’s quarters features leather seating and rustic wood details, offering a different atmosphere for getting dressed and gathering before the ceremony.
Have outfits, shoes and accessories together before arrival. Try ties, cufflinks and any unfamiliar fastenings ahead of time. Decide when everyone needs to be fully dressed, and tell the photographer which moments matter to you—perhaps a parent helping with a jacket or a few relaxed photographs with friends.
If one photographer is covering both rooms, agree on the order beforehand. Being nearby helps, but the photographer still needs time to move, find the light and capture each part of the story.

Create one clear corner for photographs
A beautiful room can fill with garment bags, chargers and shopping bags surprisingly quickly. Choose a place for belongings and keep one area clear for getting dressed and photographs. Ask your photographer which background and window light they would like to use before everyone settles in.
Gather the details you want photographed in one small box: invitations, jewelry, shoes, perfume, a watch, a meaningful keepsake or handwritten vows. Agree on who holds the rings so they can be photographed and then returned to the right person. You do not need to buy extra details just for a photograph; the pieces with meaning are enough.
Make room for food, water and a quiet moment
Arrange something easy to eat around your preparations, check the venue’s rules for bringing refreshments and keep water within reach. Give someone other than the couple responsibility for collecting food, answering routine messages and keeping an eye on the time.
You can also decide how you want the room to feel. A favorite playlist, a smaller group or a short pause before getting dressed may suit you better than a constant stream of visitors. Tell the people around you what would help. There is no requirement for your wedding morning to look like anyone else’s.
Pack for the whole day, then give belongings a home
Bring a small essentials bag with items you actually use: touch-up products, comfortable shoes, a charger and any personal necessities. Label bags and keep valuables with a designated trusted person. Confirm the venue’s steaming arrangements before arrival, so there is a suitable place to prepare your outfits.
Decide who will collect the getting-ready bags before everyone heads to the ceremony, and confirm where they can be stored afterward. The same person can help check both rooms before departure so that shoes, jewelry or a sentimental note are not left behind.
A short checklist for your venue tour
Bring these questions when you compare bridal suites and getting-ready spaces:
- When can we enter, and when can our beauty team and photographer arrive?
- How many people can comfortably prepare in each room?
- What lighting, mirrors, seating and outlets can our vendors use?
- Where can outfits hang, and what are the rules for steaming?
- What are the arrangements for refreshments, restrooms and personal belongings?
- How do we reach the ceremony while keeping a planned first look or aisle reveal?
For couples planning from farther away, a live virtual tour with Jasmine is a chance to see the rooms and ask these questions before making the trip.
